...And This Just In



...Welp, Krakatoa is erupting again, too. 
 
This is technically Anak Krakatau, or "Son of Krakatoa" which is all that's left of the original volcano, which exploded -- not erupted, exploded -- in 1883.  As Minya is to Godzilla, so Son of Krakatoa is to its parent -- very attention-seeking, but not nearly as intimidating as the parent.
 
But it's just funny that it chose right now to erupt.  It was almost the last thing left, the gravy on the icing of all the recent recent chaos.
