Steve, We Hardly Knew Ye...

 

Well, we've lost Steve Jobs, as I'm sure you've already heard. I am bitterly sad about this. WE NEED MORE GENIUSES, and we especially need ones as utterly DISCORDIAN as this guy. Imagine being such an abrasive renegade that you get fired by the company you started yourself! Imagine if you returned later and saved that company from certain destruction! Imagine cheerfully taking the world by storm, not once, but over and over again, in the teeth of derision and snarky comments about the great new thing you just invented that everyone is going to buy anyway, as if their lives depended on it! Imagine if your company's products were so great that nobody could find a damned thing wrong with them, even when they really worked at it!

Imagine if that company were named after...Apples!
